CHRISTMAS OUTREACH PROGRAM FOR KIDS

MOB with StarLight PH ASSOCIATION

Last December 21, 2022, is another memorable day for the kids of Sitio Rustan, a community of dumpsite dwellers because they were chosen by MOB to receive a Christmas treat full of surprises. What makes the activity exciting was the overflowing support from other groups, specially the group from StarLight PH ASSOCIATION represented by Mrs. Bituin Kuster and her family.

At the start of the program, Mrs. Beth Kuster, President of StarLight PH gave her opening remarks and Christmas message and wish for all the participants. The excitement was elevated when the games started. The kids and their moms were all pumped up and participated willingly. All of them were eager to win. Miss Andy and Misses Beth even joined and helped the game masters and enjoy the fun.

After the first half of the program grocery packs were distributed. MOB group, StarLight PH ASSOCIATION, and other organizations distributed the grocery packs to all the participants. Every one of  them fascinated and happiness were very evident in the smiles written on their faces.

One of the highlights of the program was the search for the Little Prince and Little Princess of the day, a beauty and brain contest among the chosen participants. Ms. Andy of StarLight PH, being a beauty queen herself, was tapped to choose 5 boys and 5 girls candidates. Winners received a sash and wonderful prices from Ms. Andy.

The climax of the event and the most awaited portion of the program was the distribution of loot bags and food for the lunch of all the participants. The excitement was all over the pace for the kids were so fascinated with the loot bags the group prepared.

The Christmas Outreach activity last December 21 in Brgy. Langgam in San Pedro City, proved once more that the partnership between MOB Foundation and StarLight PH ASSOCIATION is strong and bonded with a durable foundation. The pact that the leaders of the Starlight PH flew all the way from Switzerland to personally participate and witnessed the outreach activity, proved the real intention of StarLight PH ASSOCIATION with its partnership with MOB Foundation. For sure this will not be the last.
